Start with how your kitchen works
Cabinets determine more than the look of a kitchen. They establish the available storage, appliance openings and usable counter space. Before choosing doors or finishes, list the items that need a better home: pots, pantry goods, small appliances and everyday dishes. RFH can discuss cabinet replacement as a focused project or as part of a complete Tampa kitchen renovation.
Choose cabinets and surfaces together
Bring cabinet, countertop, flooring and backsplash samples into the same conversation. A surface that looks right in a showroom can look different beside your existing floor or under your kitchen lighting. Discuss the finish, maintenance instructions, edge profile, sink selection and the amount of exposed countertop you want before ordering. If you are considering quartz, granite or another surface, review the selected product’s care and installation requirements.
Plan the details before installation
Appliance specifications matter. Refrigerator door swings, dishwasher clearance, range dimensions and cabinet fillers all affect the final fit. Countertop measurements should be coordinated with the installed cabinet layout. Islands also need a review of circulation, seating, support and any proposed plumbing or electrical work. Adding an island is not automatically the right solution for every room.
What to include in your request
Send photos of each wall, the approximate room dimensions and a list of appliances you plan to keep or replace. Tell us whether the sink and range will remain in their existing locations. We will use those details to discuss the scope, then verify site conditions before finalizing the work.
